I wanted to give warning that the web comic will be silent next week because I will be on Vacation and without internet for most of the week of the 15th. I will be home before the 22nd and plan to be back up and live then.

Today’s comic was inspired by my boyfriend. I was talking to him about pick up lines and he just started throwing some out there that I couldn’t help but laugh at. Thus, this week is about pick up lines with a twist.

The frog is from Zooby’s and is actually rather cute. It does a few fun things but it make’s a good prop for decoration or fun (especially if you are a frog lover). Zooby’s also has other really cute scripted animals for any pet lover to adore. I have a husky from there and am completely infatuated with it.

I am really looking forward to the Super Bowl this year. I am a nerd and absolutely love the Super Bowl advertisements, outside of watching the game as well. So YAY for the Super Bowl this weekend.

I am not sure where the outfit is from that Talila is wearing, but the skirt I got from a store called Hexed. I am actually addicted to the skirts from there and have a few in my inventory. They are really well priced and come with two options for buying so that if you want to be able to transfer it as a gift, that you can.

Sorry today’s post is short. Real life has me really busy. Sadly, I won’t be getting some website changes til the end of the month because of it.

Today’s comic is completely inspired from World of Warcraft. You may be sitting there asking hmm, why is that. Well, I have been spending my time in the evenings/mornings there since I have needed a slight Second Life break. I have decided that Second Life breaks are a good thing. They make you re-appreciate things that you sometimes overlook. That being said, don’t be too surprised to see in the next few months an occasional comic pop up with a World of Warcraft reference being made with Second Life. Also, today’s comic was just inspired to be cute really. There are far more mistakes I know that World of Warcraft players can make when they pop back into Second Life, thus why for right now this is part 1. Oh and in case you haven’t noticed, I play both a priest and mage.

I am off to get screen shots ready for tonight and rewrite the rules to the contest. ♥ ♥ ♥

I want to take the time to thank my friend Talila Liu, who has been there for me since the beginning of this website. I felt it was very appropriate to have Talila in the comic with me since well…like I said a huge support for me. So thank you my dear friend that I have known for the past four years for being the wonderful supportive and encouraging friend that you are.

That being said I want to draw your attention to an outfit that is on Talila. It is from a place called Little Heaven. The store is mature and a slight maze, but actually is rather fun to explore because of the details that have gone into it. It has lots of hair styles and very cute anime/grunge style of clothing. So if you are looking for an interesting new place to explore and don’t mind some mature details, visit Little Heaven.

Also, I am setting up another contest that will end at the end of Feb. I will have more details about that tomorrow along with the winners of the Jan. Contest. Yes, I said winners. Everyone that participated is walking out with a gift card to Dreams, along with a little Linden Cash.

Also, I want to draw your attention to the necklace and earring set that I have on in the comic. I snagged it from DM Designs for 69L Hump Day. So I went back to try and find it to see if she offered it, which thankfully she does and you can get earrings, necklace and bracelet for 299L. The set is of amazing quality and comes in various color a*sortments that are sure to make anyone squeal in some form of delight. Also, the set is transferable. I highly recommend that if guys are having a hard time finding something for Valentine’s Day for their sweetie, that they stop by DM Designs.

I want to take the time to thank Aldwyn Zanzibar and Iason Ha*sanov for helping be my male models for this comic. Luckily for Al, he hasn’t ever experienced my wrath for teleporting in at the wrong time.

In case you are curious and love the hairstyles that you have seen on Rai, they are from Fri.day. I discovered the place from a friend of mine and since then I have been a Fri.day hair addict. My favorite thing about the hair details is how it has that loose silky look that hair can have. It makes me swoon.

Also, random note about custom skins. They are so worth it if you have a tattoo design you like but don’t want to wear the several layers. I would love to see a skin designer hook up with a tattoo artist in Second Life, and see what wonderful things they could come up with.

More to come about the site this week. I am debating about a few things to implement for fun and will be making my mind up by Friday I hope.

Today’s post was inspired from a joke with a few friends about the Ozimals Bunnies. Before their release, some close friends and I were chatting about how fast we thought we might see a bunny. The above semi came the joke. When the bunnies came out, I bought two and then went back and bought two more. Within a few days I came back online to a couple of baskets around. I am pleased that they actually don’t multiply at an overwhelming rate as hinted in the comic. I have also enjoyed watching the genetic concepts and how they play in with bunnies. Plus, I was really worried that I was going to log into several bunnies. So to log in and see just baskets once in a while is nice. It helps me to keep a good control on prims.

So for anyone that is looking to teach their kids about genetics, by showing them these bunnies online in a virtual simulation could help them understand a few things. Well, that is if they are learning about it at the same time in their science cla*ses. Even if you just want some cute pets that are wonderfully crafter/detailed, I highly suggest checking out Ozimals. The rest of the sim for the bunnies is worth exploring as well. Some cute things that have been designed by others.

You will also notice some changes to the website. A few more are going to be implemented in this week. As I figure out how to adjust to this new lay out. If it hadn’t been for Seattle Barbosa, I would not be even publishing a comic today. So major thanks to him for helping me fix the website issues.

On a side note, I am investigating in some future things for the site. It may take me a month or so to implement it depending on the amount of time I will have. So here is to the New Year and new ideas.
